The Course

The course will follow public roads that will remain open to other road users. As a condition of entry, all participants must obey NZ road laws. Participants will receive a safety brief at the event and are reminded that the roads are open and that all road rules apply. A copy of the safety brief will be included in the registration pack.

Safety Brief:

  • All roads are open to other road traffic
  • Normal road rules apply
  • Cyclists must keep to the left at all times
  • You must take extra care at one-way bridges and narrow sections of the road
  • Every effort will be made to assist you in riding the course safely but ultimately you are responsible for your own safety
  • Please ensure you obey instructions/directions from event officials and marshals
  • Above all, enjoy the day and stay safe

The event will start in the Kenepuru Hospital grounds and proceed through Tawa (the event will be neutralised though Tawa)
